It’s clear nowadays we live in a world where AI is becoming more common by the day and advances and new on it is quite regular. What I want to do here is to have a look back at a few achievements from the past, here are some that I have selected as major points in AI development in my opinion:
1944/1945-Game Theory was introduced
1951-The first AI programs ran on the Ferranti Mark 1
1964-First Natural Language processing in paper
1986-First Robot Cars, albeit on empty streets
1997-Deep blue beats Kasparov
2011-IBM Watson on Jeopardy
2015-AlphaGo’s first win against top level human opponents
2022-Chat GPT 3.5 public release
But what are your top achievements in AI, I would like to know?
